I'm Not Such A Innocent Girl!

Wow what a fabulous weekend I had last week. I, my lovelies was the great city of Cardiff to see the ever inspiring stars of Strictly Come Dancing, the lovely Katya Virshilas & the gorgeous Pasha Kovalev at the New Theatre in the heart of the City Centre <3

Arrived at the theatre in good time (well half a hour before the doors opened!) doors didn’t open properly till 20 minutes before curtain up so that gave us time to mingle & to imagine what we were going to expect, doors opened and everyone took their seats.

7.30 smack on the dot curtain up and boom SHOWTIME! First out was Pasha (oh my god in person he’s so so beautiful what a mover!) & then Katya got the party started with a Samba & a Salsa (boy were we in for a cracking night!) their special guests were 2 finalists from the sky 1 series Got To Dance Ryan & Lindsay both of whom were brilliant, wouldn’t be surprised if they ever became Strictly pros <3 massive shout out goes to the compare Mike Newman, highly entertaining from start to finish.

On this particular tour Katya & Pasha created they wanted to find local dance schools & ask them to perform with them, seeing as I was in Cardiff the local dance group were a group called Popstars who were brilliant - the reception they got was unbelievable was like waiting for either JLS or (dare I say if!) 1 Direction to come on stage, nevertheless Popstars killed it on stage 1 dance was a 70/80s tribute, 2nd dance during the 2nd act was a tribute to today. As the 1st act went on there was a Q&A with excellent questions kudos to all those asked Q’s (I’d of stuttered!) followed by a “dance for the ladies” Pasha dancing a foxtrot & getting 1 lucky lady on the front row to accompany him, (was not jealous! was not jealous!) they were dancing the seductive tones of the dashing Michael Bublè (if anyone knows me you’ll know I’m a massive fan of his!) so it was a perfect combination for me. 1st half ended with the amazing Quickstep Pasha danced in last year’s series of Strictly with Chelsee Healey to which I gave out a fangirl style yelp because it was my favourite dance from the whole series, Katya was superb <3

2nd act commenced & we had more dancing from the fabulous Ryan&Lindsay - including a incredible group Paso Doble (fans self) you had to be in the audience to witness it it was smokin’ hot! <3 we also had a wonderful tribute to the late great Whitney Houston with Pasha & Katya doing a stunning Rumba to her amazing version of I Will Always Love You <3 I could of cried it was that good but I was brave lol, Katya’s dress was gorgeous very floaty, & girly! Pasha on the other hand oh my word every inch the leading man <3 (be still my beating heart!)

Now came the entertaining part of the 2nd act the audience participation, 1st part everyone had to get up & learn basic cha cha steps (to the tune of Moves Like Jagger!) t’was very entertaining to say the least lol! Then 6 couples were asked on stage, the winning couple would dance with Katya&Pasha, lol it was just like being on Strictly (except without the Craig Revel Horwood like put downs!) the winning couple were a man & woman who have never met before lol brilliant entertainment, & to the lucky woman who “danced” with Pasha I salute you my lovely, I use inverted commas because it was mainly gyrating & grinding (that’s my sort of dance!! Lol) all in all the show was spectular but the best was yet to come..

After coming out the theatre the foyer was beginning to fill up so we joined a queue, and queued what seemed like a lifetime (I loathe queues! Lol) as I got nearer my heart started pounding lol, but shouldn’t have worried both Katya & Pasha were 2 of the nicest ever people I’ve ever spoken to, told Pasha I loved the Quickstep & loved it on strictly to which he said “Awww thank you, how do you rate Katya?” couldn’t help but laugh & smile like a giggly schoolgirl, I asked for a picture & he happily obliged he looked & smelt gorgeous <3 then had a good chat to Katya who is by far the nicest pro you could meet told her how far we come & see said “wow did it take long?” think they both really appericated (sp) the support, recognised me from Twitter aswell I’ll post the pics in a seperate blog <3

Returned to hotel on such a high awesome awesome night of entertainment seriously hope they both tour again soon!! <3 <3
